Looking for help

I have been searching the internet for a support group or something. The church I went to as a child is....well, I guess I don't have loyalties to it. I am non-practicing catholic. I just don't know where to go or where to look. I tried going on the United Methodist Church of Macedonia website..but its not working. They always have interesting messages on their sign so I thought I'd look into them. I don't know what else to do. I'm "trying" here...I just have no idea where to look.

  1. Hi Sandra, I know that this is tough and I wish I lived closer and we could go out for a cup of coffee or tea and let you vent. I have found church to be a big help for me but it took me a while to find the right place. I did join a local "Meetup" group and found some things that are helping me in my daily activities. They have them for all kinds of areas of interest. It might just do you some good to get out and away with people who are like minded or so to speak.

There are also many support groups for Cancer patients and their families offered through the hospital or even through county agencies. You might want to look into that. Maybe if you attended a cancer support group it would help you to be able to cope better hearing other people's stories about what worked for them.

God bless you Sweetie. Keeping your mother and you in my continued prayers.
